Scope:
The Jack Daniel Homeplace in Lynchburg, TN is looking for a summer intern. Reporting to the Supervisor of Community and Homeplace Engagement, this position will be responsible for assisting the Homeplace Leadership Team with various assigned tasks such as research, data capturing and special project execution within the retail, hospitality and tourism industry; and with respect to the Jack Daniel Distillery, where every drop of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey is made.

• Data Collection Projects:

  • Visitor Surveys help us collect demographic and marketing data for:

    • Visitor Intake Data

    • Visitor Feedback Data

    • Post Event Surveying

    • Town Square interviewing

    • Retail Data collection

    • Squire Visit Data Collection

• Inventories help us to log and assess our current supplies and allow for future decision making

  • Signage inventories based on location

  • Printed materials Inventories

• Office Supply closest restock and reorganize

• Plan and execute a Community Service Day

• Plan and execute a Lynchburg Community Event

• Internship will include working special activation events alongside the Jack Daniel Marketing team, such as CMA fest or Bonnaroo.

Requirements:

Enrollment in a 4 year accredited College or University Program, preferably retail, hospitality and tourism or related field. Internship must fulfill a course requirement for the college or university. Must be 21+ years of age in order to work special events. Housing not provided.
